The Ceremony
The certificates are not about academic results, but instead celebrate growth.
We find that they grow in areas such as confidence, kindness, communication, and a love of learning.
Teachers often share stories about the children’s experiences, highlighting the skills they have gained.
Skills such as making friends, exploring nature, learning to share, and expressing their ideas.
These reflections help families appreciate how much the children have developed during their nursery days.
After the ceremony, there may be refreshments, games, and opportunities for photographs.
Children enjoy celebrating with their friends, proud to wear their handmade hats or sashes.
The event brings families, staff, and children together, strengthening the sense of community.
Graduation Day is both a celebration and a farewell.
While it can be emotional, it is also full of excitement, as children look forward to new adventures in primary school.
It reinforces confidence, encourages enthusiasm, and reminds every child that they are capable, valued, and ready for the journey ahead.
